Ulaanbaatar, MONGOLIA - Museum Guide

Interview made by Cyril Bruyelle in August 2017

What did you want to be when you were a kid?

I never thought about it before. But If I go back I would learn more.

With whom would you like to have a coffee?

When I'm working lots of people invite me for coffee and I'm communicating with people from different countries so I don't know with whom else I would like to drink coffee now.

If you could choose something that could be taught in every school in the world, what would it be?

I would teach twist between fate and sin.

To you, what’s the main characteristic that all human being have in common?

Compassion. In Mongolia we say that one must have a warm heart and we should love each other. In real life, I would say lots of people have arrogant characters and are acting selfish.

To you, who is the happiest person on earth?

If you were President of the US, what would your first reform be?

I would stop intervene. I will try not to affect other countries under the concept of bringing peace. I would stop sending soldiers to other countries.

What do you need?

Me? Right now I just need cup of hot tea.

What would you do if we gave you 1 million dollars now?

I always want to share good thoughts about God and compassion, so I would spend that money to do those things. To do good.

Which innovation, realistic or not, would greatly ease your day-to-day life?

My work, because I work at a Buddhist temple. There I hear and see creed. I'll accomplish that creed on  myself and try not to think about bad things and clean my mind. When doing these things, I always try my best.  It makes my life easier.

What’s the news that affects you the most in your country these days?

I don't like to read these hot news from magazines. I always want to read about good news. So I like all good news about my country.

Do you think your life is easier or more complicated than the life of your parents?

Right now I've got an idea about some business. I would love to build a hot-spring camp where you can meditate to clear and recover your mind, thought and body health.

If you had to create a company, what would it be?

I think we are living worse than our family, because my parents were living during the socialism period. Their living potential was clear and society social welfare was much better than now. Every kid could go to school and everyone had a job. Now our society is getting tougher. Some kids can't get in kindergarten and the quality of teaching by teachers is getting poorer…

Can you draw something beautiful?

The most beautiful thing in the world is Sun. I wish the hearts of everyone inside were sunny and bright. I also wish that people had warm hearts and communicate between each other nicely and happily.

Can you sing something beautiful?

I want to sing a song about my mother.

What are you afraid of?

I'm afraid of the animosity of people.

What is your dream?

Of course I always wish happiness to all human beings on the world, especially my kids and relatives. I always want to build that much happiness within them.

Close your eyes, you are in 2100, what do you see?

I think in that time I would be in Shambala paradise. But the world looks so rough.

What is the most beautiful thing that you’ve seen in your life?

The most beautiful thing I ever seen was when I was giving birth and saw my son.

If you had to write a book about the current world, what would be the title?

Such an interesting question. If I'm gonna write a book about the world maybe the title would be "Sin". In this world nowadays people’ inner minds are getting so bad, leading to the destruction of our nature and environment.

Who is God for you?

God is light. This is the light of your heart. Our mind is going through the dark. We think about what to eat, what to wear and think about lot of material stuff. So God is light to open our mind and eyes.

Which of your country's cultural specificities are you the proudest of?

Of course I work in a Buddhist faith temple museum so I'm proud of the culture of Buddhism and its heritage.

If you could do any job regardless of money, what would it be?

Maybe I would do the job that I'm doing now.

If you had to explain our planet to an alien, what would you say?

I would say we have love and light, here.

And you, which question would you like to ask the world?

I want to ask "Do you love your mother Earth?"
